The first lesson

Lesson planning ( 1 ):
 Date: Sun, April 14  Unit: 1    Lesson: 1

 Behavioral objectives:
By the end of the lesson, students will be able to:
 1) Learn and identify colors.
 2) Ask questions about their favorite colors.
 3) Distinguish between colors.
 4) Read the new vocabulary correctly.
 6) Spell the new vocabulary correctly.
 7To discover how primary colors are created
8To observe colors in nature
Content:
Colors :

  Red – Purple – Yellow – Blue - Green – Orange – favorite.
 Warm up:
 I will greet students by saying "Assalamu 'alaikom" then I will say "Good morning".  After that I will ask them about the lesson then checking the previous homework. 
Introduction:
o I will show them pictures some fruits and tell them about the color of each fruit e.g. what is the color of the apple? Its red color then, I will show the students video that has a song about colors to make them have an idea about the new lesson
The song:
What color is the sky?
It is blue.
It is blue.
What color is the sun?
It is yellow.
It is yellow.
The sun is yellow, the sky
 Is blue.
Presentation:
o I will start teach colors using colored balls and ask the students to repeat the colors after me individually and correctly . I will show them some fruit and ask them to say the color such as (orange, grape, lemon) and say" what color is this ?" then ask them to repeat the question and tell them the correct answer  for example  what color is the lemon ? it is yellow. After that I will ask them to open the book and read the colors and the new vocabulary and let two students read the conversation and repeat it. I will ask them to turn the next page ,read the questions  and answer it and I should correct students mistakes.
Evaluation:
o I will divided the students into groups, each group has a certain colors balloons, inside the balloon a small paper has the name of the color, and I put on the blackboard stars blank, each group know the color of the balloon first the coloring stars blank.
Homework:
o I will ask the students to answer question (1)
Page 3 (A+B).
Reflection (1):  
After the lesson I noticed that students recall and remember all the colors and they can repeat the song (that I show them at the beginning of the lesson) correctly. Distinguish between colors and spell it correctly. I concluded that the visual teaching aids are the best in teaching children and make the lesson unforgettable for them.
